Obituary of Francis (Frank) Leonard

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Frank Leonard, of Placentia, NL. Predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Mary Ellen Leonard; nephew, Aaron Kelly and great niece, Coral Billard. Leaving to mourn are his sisters; Lizeta Billard (Clarence), Marion Kelly (Carl), Geraldine and Dwanda Janes (Eddie); his brothers, Dennis (Betty), Marcel (Sharon) and Gary; his son, Blair Dohey. Also, a large circle of nieces and nephews, too numerous to mention. Frank had several special friends which included Courtney and Michael, whom he looked forward to their visits so much; Leonard and Madonna Mulrooney and his special fur baby Teddy. Frank was an avid Fishermen and truly loved the ocean and the outdoors. Frank also enjoyed trouting, hunting, picking berries, cutting firewood and simply just spending time in the woods. Frank also loved children and they certainly loved him back. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on Monday, August 25, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service to take place at Coombs Memorial Chapel on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Flowers gratefully accepted.
