Obituary of Stanley A. McGrath

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stan McGrath - beloved Father, Grandfather and Husband. As was always his wish, Dad died at home, in the presence of his best friend and life-long partner, Theresa, on August 15, 2025. Predeceased by his parents; Julia and Patrick; parents-in-law, Gladys and Micheal Coffey; sisters, Wilhemina, Agnes, Floss and Jane; brothers, George, Clem and Andy; brothers-in-law, Earl, Micheal and Billy Coffey, as well as special friend, Greg Lavigne. Left to mourn his passing is his devoted wife of 59 years, Theresa; his daughters- Cheryl (Vince), Jennifer (Wayne) and Kelly (Chris); his sons, Jason (Joelene) and Darren; his beloved grandchildren, Amber and Rory, James, Brady and Sam; his brother, Hubert (Rose), brother-in-law, Eddie (Rhonda) and sister-in-law, Nora Coffey Lavigne. He will be forever missed by relatives and many others who were part of his life, including his special friend, Eddy English (your weekend visit was always a highlight) and William (Bill) Bragg. Visitation to take place on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia from 1-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m and also on Saturday, August 23 from 9-11 a.m. Funeral Service to take place in Coombs Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. May God Bless you all.
