Obituary of Stephen Tobin

Stephen Tobin, passed peacefully away on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Stevie was a kind soul with a rare and beautiful heart. Every room, he could light it up with a smile. Stevie was born in Stephenville, NL and grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta. In Fort McMurray, Stevie made friends wherever he went. No party or gathering was complete unless he was there. Stevie was the center of attention, no matter where he went. Stevie is predeceased by his father, Brian (Teddy) and his mother, Ida. Stevie leaves behind, his brother, Brian and other relatives and friends to mourn him. Stevie always loved the song "You Are My Sunshine". To anyone who knew Stevie, he was a ray of sunshine in a dark world. A very heartfelt "Thank You" to the Lions Manor Nursing Home Staff. Stevie received very loving and amazing care during his time there. Also, thank you to the Staff at Lawton's Pharmacy, Placentia for always having Stevie's prescriptions prepared at a moment's notice and for your kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia. Cremation and a private Funeral Service and burial has taken place. Rest in Peace Stevie. Always loved and remembered.
