To all Howie's family and friend's so sad to hear of his sudden passing.
Howie's big presence will surely be missed in the area, he was so kind and thoughtful like taking Les for long drives and taking him for lunch ,these are wonderful deeds , we spoke often especially of classic cars , and his love of nature and music.
Gone way too soon Howie , may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
My brothers have lots of good memories of him during their work in Alberta.

Please accept our Sincere Condolences at this sad time. We are very sad to hear about Howie's sudden death. Howie has been a friend of Ray's since teenagers and he became a friend of mine when we met in Alberta. He was a member of our family and we shared a lot through the years. Howie had a very pleasant personality, great since of humour, loved to go dancing.
When we hear the country song, one of Howie's favorites, "Catalytic Ranch", we will think of his cowboy boots and our many fun times. We will forever miss our telephone conversations, keeping our lives updated.
Our hearts are broken he is no longer with us, Howie will live in our hearts and cherished memories forever.

Thank you,Ray was considered a brother from another mother! I have so many memories of the two of you gallivanting around together. Those were the best days! You two were all about fast cars and how much money you could make out west. Howie never forgot his friends even when he moved back to NL. He had many fond memories of Alberta and told me he missed Alberta. But the pull of the ROCK was stronger…Our world is a little less brighter today I will miss him forever and a day

Remembering Howie and all the good times in Edmonton many years ago. Howie was a big part of our family and shared in our family dinners and celebrations for a lot of years. Always a fun-loving, positive person; he loved to laugh and was always up for a bit of mischief or a practical joke! We are so happy he came to the car show in Flatrock last summer and we got to spend some time with him. We are very sad to hear of his passing.
