Obituary of William (Billy) Lundrigan Jr.
Please share a memory of William (Billy) to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, William Lundrigan Junior (Billy). William passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in St. Bride's on March 15, 2025, age 53 years.
Predeceased by his loving mother, who he cherished so much, Mary Elizabeth Lundrigan. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Kathleen Young, his son Eddy Lundrigan and his daughter Nicole Lundrigan (Adam Hayward). Grandchildren, Carter and Avyanna and his brothers Ross Lundrigan, Gerald Lundrigan & Donald Lundrigan and his father William Lundrigan Senior. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends.
William was born in St. Bride's on July 20, 1971. He was known for his hardworking hands and the love he had for his family.
William was a kind and gentle person, pure in heart and good in his intentions with his family, friends and others he knew. William was not the type to gather in crowds, however; he never did anything to hurt others, and was always willing to lend a helping hand in any way he could. William was forever loved and will be sadly missed by his loving wife, his two children and his family and friends. William was very faithful to his family.
Despite the many hardships he faced in life, he always found happiness in the things he accomplished and the ways he provided for his family. He always found peace in the blessings he did have in his time on earth. Although he was not rich in money, he was rich in the love he gave to those he cared most about.
Although William was not a church goer, he did have a very strong sense of faith in God. He thanked God for his blessings in life, and always prayed for his family to have the best life they could. We will always cherish the happy memories we have of him and all the happiness he brought to us in his life and his time here on earth.
There are no words to describe how dearly he will be missed. His uplifting spirit and smile that could light up a room will remain with the many people he touched in his life. He was caring, hardworking, and above all else strong; a trait he passed on to his family. He will be forever in our hearts, memories and prayers.
Life is not a journey but a destination. To the world he may have been just another person, but to his family he is the world. If there was a stairway to heaven we would walk right up and bring him back again but life, and God had other plans for him beyond this earth. We will find peace in knowing he is with his Mom and all those who have gone before him and in knowing we will always have him as our guardian angel watching over us on our walk through life on earth without him.
