George Bonnell passed away in his home in St. John’s February 25th 2025 at the age of 91. George was born in Lamaline.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Jane (Jean) King-Bonnell; daughters, Brenda (Trevor) Harris, Barbara (Brad) Nemetchek, Irene (Frank); his parents, Lewis and Jane and his parents-in-law, William and Agnes King; brothers Maxwell, Garfield; sisters Eileen, Lucy and Mary; brother-in-law, Joe Smith.
Leaving to mourn, his sons, Gerald (Mary), Terrance (Tina), Robert (Jane) and Darryl (Pamela); daughter, Charmaine (Mark) Miles; 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Lewis (Shirley), William (Joanne); sisters, Emily (Austin) Roache and Marion Smith and many nieces and nephews.
To the number of friends who were there to help him, your love and friendship meant so much to him.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs funeral home. Inurnment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.
