First of all I want to give my condolence to my cousins, Stella, Maurice J.R, Margie, Darlene, Wanda, Til, Anthony, Bridget, Anslem, Cyril, Adrian, Dan, Ambrose, Marion, Phonse, Pauline, Linda and Wayne. Second I want to shared a memory of Mary with you. A couple of years ago I went on facebook and on your right there is a list of today birthdays on there for you and that day it say Mary Spurvey so I went on her facebook page and I wrote on there the following; Happy Birthday Mary; Enjoy your day and my guess is that you are 24 years old today. so a few minutes later she reply back to me and says yes Angela you are right. So Mary will always be 24 years old to me. Also when ever I come across her at Foodland or Dollarma she always would stop by and talk to me. She though the world about me and she would always ask about Nathan and Margaret she love them kids so much and she love the fact that Margaret was called after her mother. Whenever I go out to Coombs Cemetery I will always visit her grave, Nathan, Margaret and I was honor to have her as our cousin. Rest Easy Mary.

Mary Spurvey…yes she was always Mary Spurvey to us McCues…she was our neighbour and family friend for most of our lives…she was Mom’s very good friend and they were always there for each other. My condolences go out to …Mary’s children (Stella, Margie, Junior and Wanda and their families…to the Griffith’s family and to Mary’s good friend and companion, Herb. To Stella, Junior, Margie Darlene, Wanda, Anslem , Herb & all the extended families. I was so saddened to hear of Mary's passing. I remember her warmth, humor & love for her family. We shared a few drinks and laughs at Anne & Anslem's during Xmas over the years & I remember she was a lot of fun & a joy to be with. May she rest in peace & may the memories you hold of this lovely woman bring you joy as the years go on. I know she will be deeply missed.

Dear Herb, Stella, Junior, Margie, Darlene, Wanda and families. Harry and I send our sincere condolences on the loss of Mary/Mom. It was a shock to see this as I didn’t realize she was sick. The loss of a Mother is so enormous. May you all find comfort in all the beautiful memories that she created with you. Mary had a beautiful smile and her eyes really did light up whenever she smiled. My sincere condolences to all the family at this difficult time. My thoughts are with you Herb, Stella (Bill), Junior (Charlene), Margie, Darlene (Glen), Wanda (Bob), Anslem (Anne), and so many more. Mary was always a beautiful person who always welcomed me into your home and that was daily growing up. I sat in the kitchen many a evenings having a second meal and then tagged along many a Sundays to go to South East for a ice cream cone treat. Lots of great memories to share.
