Irene , Lisa, Gordie, Cindy, Anthony, Alyssa and your families, sending my sincere condolences to all you, I was sad today to see that Gord had passed away. I have so many memories in my teenage years of being at the Murphy’s house. Friday evenings I would get off the bus with Lisa for the weekend whether I had been invited or not, may have even got in a little trouble from time to time, But I was always welcomed back and treated as one of their own. Irene , Gordy , Lisa , Cindy , Anthony and Alyssa as well Gord’s sisters Mary , Beth & Shirley . Please accept our heartfelt condolences on Gord’s passing . Gord and Reg were good friends with lots of memories of the younger years . My memories of Gord was mostly him laughing at my expense . Like losing my shorts due to them getting caught in the rope to the boat he towed behind the big boat . As well as my first time making pea soup where I used 2 packs of peas . Irene & family, We are so deeply saddened to hear of Gord’s passing, he was such a big part of our ‘across the bay’ life and he will be sorely missed.
