Al and I worked together in Ft St. John BC in 1979 and 1980. He was a great man. I travelled to Branch and met he family and friends in Branch. I always wanted to go back but never did and I regret that. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed I am sure.

Deepest condolences to all the family, Al was our dart buddy. He loved to win and his rivalry with Ronnie always gave us a good laugh. Gone way too soon for sure. He will definitely be missed by our dart league. He was a very strong man and dealt with it all with much dignity. RIP Al.

To all of Al’s family…..sincere condolences on his passing. When we needed help in installing light fixtures in Branch, Al was quick to come and install them for us! He was a good and kind person and will be missed.

Our deepest condolences to Al's family as you mourn your great loss. Al was a gentleman and loyal friend. He was honest, smart, witty and kind, While talking about Al over the last little while Terry fondly recalled very competitive games of Trivial Pursuit and cards they played together in their younger days. One game, Terry won a piece of the pie by naming a figure skater, Al was wicked about how Terry would have the answer to that particular question. The three of us shared many a laugh over the years about the figure skating pie piece. It is moments shared with Al that we will carry in our hearts. Deepest and sincerest condolences to the family of Al. I was very young when I first met Al English. He and Mr. Walter Corcoran Sr. came to live with us one summer when the road was under construction between Branch and North Harbour. He was very kind to us, never balked at the crowd of young ones around the table or the noise in the house. Mom often talked about how "civil" he was ( a compliment) how easy both borders were to feed and house. He dropped in every now and again after that and my parents were always happy to see him. It's well over forty years since I saw him but that time of having extra people around who had a musical lilt in their voices that was unmistakable and a fond memory for sure. May he rest in peace and may all your memories of him make you smile. Rest in Peace Al English.
