It is with heavy hearts and a lifetime of memories that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Robert (Robbie) Gerard Collins age 58 of Placentia, NL.
Robbie was a very hard worker, dedicated to his work and family and very respected by all who knew him.
Although he went long before his time we are so thankful for the many fond memories we shared.
Predeceased by his parents Bert & Vera Collins. Left with cherished memories are his devoted wife Mary who stood by his side for 40 years, his children Genny (Stephen) and Matthew, grandchildren Andrew, Lydia, and Noel, and special granddoggy Harley; brothers Kenny (Donna), Tommy, Wayne (Glenda);
sisters Margie (Paul), Mary (Wilf), Cathy (Wish), Sandra; Mother & Father in law, Nellie & Joe; brothers-in-law Tony (Denise), Paddy, Gerald (Kim); sisters-in-law Kathleen (Laurie), Jenny (Duane), Helen (Ray); His many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, large extended family and circle of friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 and Thursday from 2:00 - 9:00. Funeral Mass to take place on Friday September 9, 2016 at Sacred Heart Church, Placentia at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Placentia.
